First night I found a big bug, second night another big bug on the ceiling that fell on the bed and made a big stain. I had to put a towel on top of the stain to I could sleep on the bed. I also found some dead bugs under the bed, I had a room facing the street and at night there was so much noise from people going by. Other than that it was ok and the owner was responsive, but didn’t do anything about the bugs.

This is not the five star hotel to expect however, Proximity to the ferry port ( less than 5 min walk with luggage ) Cleanliness The manager good communication and responsiveness through txt messages

Perfect place to stay in Hydra. Large room and large bathroom. Very clean and quiet but still close to bars and restaurants. Host is very nice and response quickly. I definitely recommend this place to stay and wish to go back again.

The Alexandra Guesthouse is a great find on Hydra. The staff was friendly and had great suggestions for sightseeing and dining. The room was small, efficiently furnished and had been recently renovated. Everything you need for a stay on Hydra.
