This was a very nice hotel conveniently located next to Royal Liverpool Golf Club. The place is clean and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The room was large and clean. There was no air conditioning (common for this area) but other than that, it was very comfortable. Sadly, the breakfast was quite poor.

Staff was attentive and pleasant. Problems were that they ran out of basic breakfast menu items. Additionally, the property is not air conditioned and no fans were available until we requested one. The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice.

Have stayed at The Green 💚 Lodge in Hoylake...3 times. Always felt comfy...and have got to know it's staff. Breakfasts are 👍...and you can avail of slightly different...to usual Full English. 2 cousins joined me for evenings meals...my last evening..we sat in the window alcove in Dining room...the waitor was very friendly and polite. JOHN PARKINSON...retired journalist..
