There are two sections in the hotel - the regular main building and Family Paradise. Family Paradise was great for a family of four in terms of standard and facilities whereas the main building was more of a cruise ship feeling that needs maintenance and some charm added to it! Overall we were satisfied once we moved to the Family Paradise section. Breakfast in the same area was good but overall the food experience was poor.

Pools were great. Staff were excellent. Room was good and practical. Breakfast was good. We stayed in the family section, and wished there were more washer and dryers in the laundry.

We had the most amazing stay at the Grand Mirage & Thalasso Bali and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The service was exceptional throughout our entire stay—every team member was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with a smile. As a family travelling with children, we couldn’t have asked for a better resort. There were so many activities to keep the kids entertained, and the whole resort has such a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It made our holiday so enjoyable and stress-free. The facilities, food, and location were all fantastic, but what really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about making every guest’s experience memorable. Thank you to everyone at Grand Mirage & Thalasso Bali for giving our family such wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly holiday in Bali!

This is a large resort with plenty of facilities for families. We stayed in a Family Garden View room on the family side of the resort. While the room itself was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family with teenagers, the “garden view” was disappointing. Instead of overlooking a landscaped garden, our view was dominated by large trees and piles of burning rubbish. Because of the outlook and limited natural light, we didn’t spend much time relaxing in the room. The staff throughout the resort were lovely, friendly, and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and happy to help whenever we needed anything. The resort has several lovely swimming pools, and we especially enjoyed being able to book water sports directly from the hotel’s beachfront. There are also some excellent restaurants and fantastic massage places just across the road, which were a real highlight of our stay. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of food, although there were quite a few flies around the main restaurant, which detracted from the experience. Overall, the resort has plenty to offer, particularly for families, and the wonderful staff made our stay enjoyable. However, the room view and breakfast dining environment could be improved
