The hotel was beautiful overlooking the ocean. When we registered the receptionist was a bit short with us . We checked in earlier than expected instead of the usual 3:00 pm. The room they provided us on the 3 rd floor overlooking ocean had a odd odor. We addressed this issue with reception and maintenance provided a service. The odor was fowl and we addressed this matter with reception and the provided us with an upgraded room . We had a wonderful time and the staff were very nice and helpful.

This classic hotel right on the beach at Santander is definitely the place to stay. We had a sea view and it is wonderful looking at the constant activity on the beach. It has obviously been updated but maintains its period grandeur, however some details are still a little dated. Buffet breakfast was only OK, they had run out of natural yoghurts and we weren’t even there so late and told me that they would have some more the next day! The waiter did find us cuajada, which was appreciated. It’s in the centre of the bars and other Sardinero life

Stunning! Building architecture is beautiful, location can’t be better just in front of the beach, and is a long beautiful beach great for walks and swimming. Attention was immaculate for sure if I come back to Santander for sure I will choose this hotel for sure.
