I had a broken ankle and I had to walked with my suitcase to my room , the bellboy never helped me not the lady of the reception offer me help At dinner time the room service make me called twice because they were very busy Beautiful place , but is a very high end hotel and those details are basic

Wonderful hotel and great breakfast buffet. Loved the suite and beds so comfortable. Great pit stop for the Camino. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were helpful and patient in particular when there was some confusion about the payment. Based on the email I received from Hotels com I had paidca deposit but according to the hotel I had not This led to an uncomfortable conversation with the hotel but they handled it very well and it turned out the email was incorrect There was a very unfortunate odour in the first room we were assigned but the hotel moved us to another room with no fuss. The pool water did not seem that clean. The food at the bar was adequate. We did not eat in the restaurant The breakfast was good and the serving staff very friendly The free shuttle bus to Santiago center was a great help but did not run during the middle of the day When taking public transport from the town the walk to hotelgies along a quite road for a bit and steep in parts

This was such a beautiful hotel with a marvelous view. The saltwater pool was so refreshing and the beds extremely comfortable. We were given a room with two double beds for three adults without a cot but still had enough space. The shower was so refreshing, I only regret that I didn’t get to take a bath in the deep jet tub.

There wasn't a lot wrong that I could say about the Gran Hotel Los Abetos. It was fabulous from start to finish. The check-in experience was excellent. Very quick and efficient. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the amenities were great. The only thing I would mention, and it's minor, is that some of the poolside furniture and mattress covers for the loungers looked a bit tired looking and could do with a good wash. The pool itself was excellent, with great depth that allowed for a good swim. Really, we were sorry to leave; had we known how wonderful the hotel was we would have stayed there for our entire four-day trip. An added bonus was the hotel's excellent shuttle bus service into Santiago. If you wanted to stay later than the last bus back at 20:05, a taxi was around €10.00 which was very reasonable. All taxis took card payments so you weren't caught needing cash. An overall wonderful experience; we would definitely stay there again if we return, which we definitely will. Santiago was amazing.
