Although it is ranked 5 star hotel, the hotel itself has aged, and looks on the older side. The pools are nice, kids friendly, and staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are average, nothing stands out. Went with All inclusive package, so a lot of food, but the quality of it is just average

Our stay at GR Solaris Cancun was a great overall experience. The resort was clean, well-maintained, and the staff consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help, which really made our vacation enjoyable. The food offered a good variety, and there was always something to choose from. The entertainment team did an excellent job keeping guests engaged throughout the day and evening, and the pools and beach provided a relaxing atmosphere. A few things future travelers should know: making reservations for the specialty restaurants as early as possible is a good idea since they can fill up quickly. If you’re looking for a smaller, more relaxed resort that’s close to the airport, this is a solid choice. Keep in mind that it isn’t a luxury resort, so setting realistic expectations will help you enjoy your stay even more. Overall, we had a wonderful trip, appreciated the excellent service, and would definitely consider returning.

I don’t eat a lot of foods and a lot of things that they had there. I do not eat so while they’re on my stay the only thing I can eat was pizza from outside near the pool hotdog burgers and salad. I want to taste the milk. It was powdered milk none of the juices were good to me like when you know that you are having tourist come in y’all should accommodate a lot of American foods as well and also have more people that speak English.

Great resort for families. Breakfast time was 730, great for early mornings, everything was accessible, excursion planning, cafe, reception, bar, snack are near the pool Very kid friendly, attentive staff, good pool options
