Nice hotel, beautiful swimmingpools. I would loved to hav a little fridge in the bungalow, so we could keep the water etc cold.

Everything at fun beach was above our expectations. The rooms are very clean. The grounds and ocean view are spectacular, and the staff is the best, very welcoming and courteous. Margaret, who set up our day trips is the best and very easy to talk with. Rachel at the bar and restaurant is exceptional. She remembers the guests by name and is always smiling and cheerful. All the staff here are always greeting us with Jambo Jambo and asking if we need anything, and when we say everthing is great, it’s Hakuna matata. The pools are wonderful with the main pool by the seating area covered so you can enjoy the water all day without looking like a lobster on someone’s plate. We had 3 nights booked and were going to go to Nungwi, but after our 3 nights we did not want to leave. We were able to extend our stay another 4 nights. We are in the hospitality business also. We can not say enough about Fun Beach Hotel and staff!

Overall check in was ok During our stay service was some what slow, Early morning shower, water was cold on both days, Take away breakfast was very poor, dry bread and pancakes not really edible,

Very nice hotel with amazing surroundings, great staff, great rooms and a beautiful pool area! Also the small towns nearby are super fun with some great food options. Definitely recommend this place — enjoyed it a lot more than other places in Zanzibar.
