Beautiful grounds here at Fota Island Resort. Every member of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in for a long, long time.

Stayed one night only on a driving trip but it was everything you expect from a 5* hotel. Lovely meet and greet and easy check in. Used the spa facilities over 2 days but there is an additional charge for this. Pool use is included in your stay. We ate evening meal in the Amber restaurant which had great food and reasonably priced for a high end hotel. It was busy so slightly slow service but the waiter apologised on contact. The grounds looked lovely and had an advertised walk but did not have enough time to explore. Overall a great hotel, welcoming with good facilities.
