The living room features a pull-out couch (1.40 m x 2.00 m) that sleeps one additional person. As a basement apartment, it is located below the first floor. Accommodation: Quietly located with a half-hour bus connection to the city of Detmold (travel time approx. 30 min). Hiking destinations: Hermann’s Monument, Externsteine, Teutoburg Forest with many hiking and biking trails. Cultural attractions: Eagle Sanctuary, Bird Park, College of Music, State Theater, etc. In the summer, you can walk to our village outdoor pool, “Fischerteich,” in 4 minutes ☀️⛱ Guest access The vacation rental is accessible via a separate entrance. Additional important information: The apartment is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Pivitsheide. Our small outdoor pool is just a 4-minute walk away. There’s a Comib supermarket and an Aldi supermarket about 2.2 km away. The neighborhood also has a butcher shop, two bakeries, a Sparkasse and a Volksbank, a gas station, a pharmacy, and more. Restaurants in town are also just a few minutes’ drive away. From here, it’s just over a 20-minute drive to Bielefeld. Paderborn is about a 30-minute drive away. Located in Detmold, this apartment is in a rural area and on a lake. Teutoburg Forest-Egge Hills Nature Park and Teutoburg Forest reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Aqualip and Zoo Safaripark Stukenbrock.
