My wife and I usually choose Fairfield hotels because they’ve consistently offered good value, facilities, and service. Unfortunately, this location was a major exception. Check-in was great. The front desk staff was friendly and even gave our son coloring sheets and crayons. She also asked if we wanted housekeeping the next day, and I said yes. The room was outdated and tired. The accessible shower had a vertical slider for the shower head, but it wouldn’t stay up and kept falling down, spraying the wall. Since it was 10:30 p.m., we improvised with a rolled-up grocery bag to hold it in place. The next morning, our room keys stopped working. We had to replace them twice before leaving. During one incident, our toddler had an accident because we couldn’t access our room or either available lobby restroom. Before leaving, we reported the key problem and shower issue. Five hours later, neither key worked. We were told new keys had already been made, but no one contacted us. We had actually walked right past the desk. The new keys opened our room, but the beds hadn’t been made, used towels were still on the bathroom floor, and the shower was still rigged with the grocery bag. Later, we asked for fresh towels. The keys then failed again at the parking garage and when we returned. I understand that problems happen, but the lack of follow-through was disappointing. We reported the issues, yet none were properly resolved. We’re hesitant to return to this location.

Pleasant staff, downtown location close to a variety of things to see or do. Personally, went to a football game and the hotel was within easy walking distance. Only major issue was the ice machine on the floor I was assigned was out of order. Not the biggest issue considering the accessibility of the machines on the floors above and below. Overall a quality stay for the experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield Inn. The staff were amazing--always friendly and helpful. Often it is apparent customer-service staff don't really care about helping customers, but the staff at the Fairfield Inn seemed to care genuinely about the guests. The room I stayed in was small, but beautiful. I loved the fact that my window faced two museums directly across from the hotel. The only issue I experienced during my stay was with the room's shower. The water
