Room is DEFINITELY run down. The bathroom tiles were cracked, stopper didn’t fit the drain, silverfish at night!! The bed was comfy and clean. View was horrible!! Windows are so thin we could hear people (not sure if the pool was near our room).

Room wasn’t fully clean when we checked in. Found lots of little insects. Overall felt dirty. AC unit and bathroom fan sounded like an airplane.

We were not in the main building. Our room had been updated, and the bed was so comfortable. They gave us 2 fresh bottles of water daily. I swam in the pool, which was at a very comfortable temperature, and sat in the sun in the lovely courtyard. We had a little balcony, on which I would have loved a couple of small chairs, but I did stand out there awhile, and we had the door open to let in the fresh crisp air. Although we chose no maid service, the maid in the hall gave me fresh water, and asked if we needed any supplies. The room was VERY clean. My husband ate breakfast and lunch in the restaurant, and said it was good, and filling. For dinners, we walked to a couple of the numerous close restaurants. Altogether, we had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay.

I was under a different impression when I booked this hotel as I usually look at the rate as an indication of how "nice" the hotel would be, as I paid over $450.00 I assumed it would be a decent hotel. The property is OLD. Very OLD and although clean, you can see it's age in the carpet, baseboard, fixtures etc. I originally booked a 1 bedroom suite as it was one of the only available and when I got into the suite I had to ask to be changed, it was in the residential tower which was definitely not well kept, and the unit itself looked like a dingy dorm room, was also weird as it seems housekeeping likes to keep all doors closed so upon entering the suite the TV was on with Cartoons on and the bedroom, bathroom doors were all closed- I was a little creeped out thinking someone was already in the unit. I did ask to switch to a regular unit/hotel room as I just had a weird feeling in the 1 bedroom suite. The team was lovely and allowed me to see the one available studio in the main hotel which seemed more like a normal hotel vs a old Air BNB. So I chose the smaller unit - only issue here was there was a very ODD smell in the unit that wa quite overpowering, I had to go to Sage to buy some essential oils to lighten up the scent as it was way too strong and very odd. I would say this hotel is probably 1 step above a Travelodge, and would be aligned with a old Holiday Inn.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. Excellent unit that included a full kitchen (stove, full oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, double sink). Cutlery, cooking utensils, and tableware for 4 (plates, bowls, cups, and glasses) all included. Condo-size washer and dryer in the unit (you will need to bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets). 2 full bathrooms. Both rooms included a queen size bed. Master bedroom has a larger walk-in closet, but there is no lighting in the closet. Living area included a pull-out sofa. Wi-fi was good. 3 TVs in the unit. Large balcony. Lots of windows that make the living area bright. Very spacious for a 2 bedroom unit. Hot tub and fitness gym available on the premises. There is a pool on the premises, but we did not visit the pool. The unit has central heating/air conditioning which was very nice, however, it was a bit loud. If you have a car, there is an additional charge for parking that is secure/gated. There is a restaurant and cold beer/wine store on the premises. Richmond Centre mall is just a few blocks away.
