Good location but miles from a 4star. The rooms are oddly shaped and old furniture and the beds and mattresses are of a 2* hotel. The pool and bar on the roof top as well resemble a 2* hotel. Lifts takes 5 minutes wait - everytime Many better options

We have stayed in this hotel before and the room was very good. This time we booked a courtyard room , it was much smaller and we were unable to open the curtains as other rooms over looked it. Also it was on a corner not far from the elevators and it was so noisy. Next time I will check were the room is situated

Overall, we had a good stay at Hotel Don Jaime. The hotel has good facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The main issue for us was the AC. We spoke to the reception and they kindly changed our room as we requested, but unfortunately the AC in the second room wasn’t much better. I’m not sure if there was a problem with the system or simply because Valencia was extremely hot during our stay in September 2026. Either way, the room could get quite uncomfortable during the summer. The bed was also not the most comfortable we’ve slept in, but it wasn’t a major problem. One thing you shouldn’t forget about is the pool! The staff told us that during summer there is direct sun at the pool until around 6 p.m. After that, it gets shady and a bit windy, so I would recommend enjoying the pool before 6. There is also a bar by the pool, which is a really nice addition. Apart from the AC and the bed, we have nothing to complain about. The staff were great, they tried to help us with the AC issue, and the hotel itself has very good facilities.

Wonderful Stay at Exe Rey Don Jaime – Great Hotel and Outstanding Breakfast! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Exe Rey Don Jaime in Valencia for three nights at the end of August. We are a family of three visiting from Canada, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a great location, and the service was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable mattress and pillows, which made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring Valencia. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast — it was outstanding! There was an amazing variety of high-quality food, with plenty of options for everyone. We really enjoyed starting our mornings there. The only negative thing we noticed was an occasional sewage-like smell in our room. However, we also noticed a similar smell in several other places around Valencia, so this may be more of a city infrastructure issue than something specific to the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Exe Rey Don Jaime to other families visiting Valencia. A special thank you and a big shout-out to all the staff for the great job! Your hard work and friendly service made our stay even more enjoyable. Keep up the excellent work!
