A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay.

Super easy pull in after hours, superb waterfront location catching the sunrise & at the quieter end of town. Great water pressure for those who like a wake me up morning shower!

We had a 2 bedroom / 2 ensuite apartment with 180 degree waterfront and beach views. Loved the sound of the rolling waves on the shore, but sadly a few hoons used the road in front as a drag strip. The apartment furniture was a little dated, but bathrooms and bed were top notch. It was also immaculately clean. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Russell ferry and shops. Superb friendly welcome with advice what to do in the surrounding area and was so accommodating. Quiet season (winter) but still a great experience. I would highly recommend the Edgewater Palm Apartments

Amazing views from our large rooms, hosts were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances. The only thing to watch out for is the exit from the car park is rather tight so be careful when exiting the car park so not to damage your car. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful unit, very well appointed. In an excellent position, close enough to walk to town and the wharf. Great little cafe next door Loved the 2 bathrooms as we were 2 females travelling together. Only had 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer
