Stayed here as a halfway point between Charlotte, NC and NY. There's a Houlihan's attached to the hotel. It was nice to not have to leave the hotel for dinner after driving all day. We were traveling with 2 teenagers so booking a room with 2 queen beds and a sofabed was perfect. The 2 queen beds were in a separate room and had a nice large flatscreen TV. The living room with the sofabed also had a nice big flatscreen TV. There was a wetbar area above the refrigerator. Nice Crabtree & Evelyn bath products and I think this was the only place I've stayed recently that included a shower cap! Also, a sewing kit, which was a nice touch. Hilton Honors members get 2 free bottle of water and cookies on check in. Thrilled there was an allergy friendly cookie option since a few of us in the family are gluten & dairy free. The town itself also had lots of stores, restaurants and a starbucks. Also, if you're stil reading... the hotel is a mere 10 minutes from Dinosaurland which is a kitschy roadside attraction well worth the stop if you're into that sort of thing or have very young kids traveling with you :)

The room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to change rooms and staff went out of their way to assist us.
