The room was clean enough. The staff were nice enough. My shower leaked a lot, which was odd. Water everywhere. They are going to have to fix that. My room smelled like cigarettes even though is was a non smoking room. It’s not convenient for New York City travel. You can’t walk to it, regardless of what Google Maps claims. I would not recommend for a New York City visit unless you have a car.

Very disappointing service, dirty rooms, and an inconvenient location We booked two rooms and repeatedly requested connecting rooms before our arrival, but received no response. At check-in, we were told that no connecting rooms were available and were given rooms across from each other instead. We then asked the staff to let us know whether connecting rooms might become available the following day, but again, no one followed up. We felt that our requests were simply ignored. The rooms were very dirty, smelled unpleasant, and felt old and dated. The location was also extremely inconvenient, with virtually nothing nearby to access without a car. Overall, a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years as an affordable place near New York City. In the past they ran a shuttle into the city (very convenient) for a reasonable fee. Coupled with free parking, it was a good deal. Unfortunately, they discontinued the city shuttle and now go to a transit bus stop to catch a ride into the city. We went with Uber X instead which depending on the time of day cost between$80-$100 one way. Still the free parking is a big plus. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms are very nice and updated. There is a restaurant on site but no breakfast is included .

The place was very nice and staff was great. The only problem was that the room ac would only work for about 90 minutes. I called the maintenance people, they came up and since I turned the unit off and back on it was working so they left. 90 minutes later it was off and room was 78 degrees. This happened all night long. It goes off, room heats up to 78, wakes me up being hot. Turn it off and back on and get 90minutes more sleep.
