The building itself was set as far back from the M74 as is possible for the services area. The M74 could be heard from the room but it soon became just a background noise that did not prevent sleep. The building is tired and in need of re -decorating. The staff were excellent and helpful. And if you have a dog there is plenty of green area for them to stretch their legs. No frills, no bar just a motorway services close to the motel.

During check in the reception commented that the room is not made up for 4 ppl (adults + 2 kids) he will make up the extra bed. At that point we showed him our booking showing the booking for 4 ppl.he gave us someone else room and around 11:30 ain thenignight receptionist knocked on our door whole kids

Bathroom ceiling covered in mould, could see it had been re painted.. Bath tap leaking, stained all the side of bath.. Above the sink was broken and the dust thick.. Beds uncomfortable and could feel springs in the mattress.. Parts of the headboard wood was flaking off and same on the TV unit.. Room smelt musty.. Was woken at 3am to doors slamming shut and again at 4.20am Overall not a great stay, place needs a good re decorating and modernising

Very convenient for overnight stops and never disappoints. Generally very good value. Rooms are quiet and comfortable
