Not near the Danube but a 30 minute walk. Felt safe walking in Budapest. Hotel is also 30 minute walk to Heroes Square. The square in in City Park and adjoins the zoo. Hotel staff always friendly and helpful and good English language skills are obviously required. Nice breakfast buffet in morning. Good dinner menu. Excellent food service.

Beautiful hotel in a n area that is walking distance to several great areas like a shopping district and also multiple live music venues.

Our stay at Corinthia Budapest fell well below our expectations of a five-star hotel. It felt more like a busy conference hotel, particularly at breakfast, where the crowded, canteen-like atmosphere was compounded by disappointing food quality and service. The apartment we were allocated was in a separate building across the street, requiring a considerable walk to the main hotel. On arrival, one bed was missing and there was no hot water. The beds provided were uncomfortable, and the overall standard of the accommodation did not reflect the hotel’s five-star rating. The spa was ok, but it could not compensate for the shortcomings elsewhere. Overall, the experience did not justify the price, and we left disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, large clean room. Nice, helpful staff. We didn’t do the breakfast package but heard from a friend it’s wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
