Dont believe the pictures! First night there was a band in the park next door. Could barely hear the Tv. They put earplugs in the bathroom so it must happen often. The black grout in the bathroom matches the rest of the room. Problem is it is supposed to be white. Therefore the entire bathroom is filled with mold. The overhead fan is either on 1 or 3. The middle setting does not work. The rocks in the pool are black. Which is black algae. The rest of the pool is noticeably filled with green algae. One would think during the 5 days I stayed there I would see someone cleaning the pool. Nope. The most frustrating thing of all was the lack of internet. It is supposed to work but it doesn't. Trying to find directions or make future plans is nearly impossible. Do yourself a favor and spend 10 to 20 more per night and stay anywhere else. You will thank me later.

Room was average size.Bed was large and comfy.Room was not sound proof, could hear shower and taps running in next room and could hear people coming and going in the hallway through the night. we did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet as we were on the go early. We were given a credit to use as we opted out of housekeeping, could have used it for breakfast but used it for snacks instead Bar Fridge turned up too high and froze our drinks and strawberries Overall it suited our 2 night stay in Cairns before we flew home
