Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience upon arrival. The hotel clearly advertises free parking directly at the hotel on its own website. Nevertheless, when we arrived, we were told that all parking spaces were occupied and that we would have to pay ourselves to park in a car park some distance away. When we pointed out that free parking was one of the reasons we had chosen the hotel, the receptionists continued to insist that the hotel did not guarantee parking. They maintained this position even though we could document it both on the hotel’s own website and on our Hotels.com receipt, where free parking was also specifically listed as part of our reservation. We therefore felt both poorly treated and misled, and the way the reception staff handled the situation was very disappointing. This poor start unfortunately affected our overall impression of the stay. The room was large, but felt dark and rather cold. For these reasons, we unfortunately cannot recommend Hotel CONTEL Koblenz.

By far the best hotel I have been in for the past two weeks. Every staff member is friendly and helpful, the rooms are great, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was great and the beer garden was amazing as well. Great parking underneath the hotel for free. I can't say enough good things about my stay.

This Hotel was so beautiful! The outside was very serene and it made the trip! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was also very good and the staff was very helpful! Little tip: if you leave the bag they give you on top of your bed and leave it on the door, you’ll get a little surprise! Loved this hotel, wish others were like it!
