Overall, our stay at the Comfort Inn in Edgewater was a fairly average experience—about 3 stars across the board. The rooms were nothing special and could definitely use some improvement. One of our rooms had an unpleasant, sweaty-feet odor when we checked in. When we brought it to the front desk’s attention, the staff simply sprayed something onto the carpet. While we appreciated the attempt to address the issue, it felt like a temporary fix rather than a real solution. Traveling as a family of five, we also found the lack of connecting rooms inconvenient. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre, with a fairly limited selection and nothing particularly noteworthy. On the positive side, the location was convenient, with a Trader Joe’s and several dining options nearby. That was definitely one of the hotel’s stronger points. Overall, the hotel served its purpose, but the accommodations and overall experience left much to be desired. Given the other options in the area, we probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Area is nice just lot of construction going on at the moment. Very nice view from the balcony and easy access to the water sidewalk right behind the hotel, wonderful for a night walk

Great stay. Clean hotel, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff. One block from a bus stop to take to bus terminal, then subway to get to NYC. Front desk clerk, Dezi (I think) was so helpful and cheerful... we got back from the city and just wanted a pizza, she recommended a place and it was on point!
