We arrived there much earlier than we expected and the staff was so helpful in getting us get a room earlier. The staff overall are very friendly. Also the daily breakfast was delicious! Our stay at Castello was great- from the location to the room, to the service!

Great stay at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff thoughout. I especially enjoyed the restaurant with amazing views over Heraklion.

Great reasonably priced option. I am a former local living abroad visiting and it’s super convenient, very good breakfast with a lovely view, comfortable, clean. Personnel is lovely. Likely staying here next time I need to stay in Heraklion again.

Think a old North American Motel 8 with a all meals served buffet style a body temperature, and local drinks. Don’t order the mixed drinks unless you want to get drunk and a sugar high on a single drink. The food is edible/ just. The last night they went American on us for dinner with pre- made hamburgers and hot dogs- yuk. If you are old and want to sit around playing cards in an alcoholic daze and don’t have taste buds left- this is your home. A bus outside the hotel will take you into Chani where food is good and a nice restaurant is across the street.

The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of things, which was very nice. The rooms were pretty simple but we didn’t mind at all. Aykan Was also very helpful
