Shower made it impossible to not get the entire floor soaking wet. The “limited parking spaces” is pretty much a lie. There’s like 3 available and they’re ALWAYS taken, so don’t get your hopes up for that. Hallways and curtains covered in stains. They were popping firworks all night so impossible to get a good nights sleep with the window cracked for some fresh air. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Sheets, bathroom, and towels were clean and fresh. Location was nice. Lots of cafe’s. The free snacks and bottled water was a nice touch. Very kind staff members. Online pictures are misleading.

Great hotel in walking distance to the downtown. Breakfast was ok but not great (£11). They had sausages (which weren't particularly good), English bacon and scrambled eggs, toast and all the other basic stuff.

We stayed at the Cairn late August so it was a high demand period. Room rate was outrageous for this hotel. The breakfast was not good, staff was okay. This hotel needs a lot of TLC. There are a few coffee shops around the corner. We were able to walk to most of our destinations.
