The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was no shaver socket in the bathroom, no body lotion and no facial tissues. The radiator heating was not on, but for a single night it was tolerable. Had I been staying longer I would have requested a fan heater for this North-facing room.

Very tired hotel. Very average breakfast. Old and well used room that doesn’t make you want to come back. Shame

Booked a double room for me and my husband, was given a room with no door on bathroom/toilet. The room was obviously for a single booking. They said they were full and couldn’t move us but said because I had booked in with my husband they didn’t think it would be an issue! Hotel has still not responded to my complaint which was sent 4 days ago.

Breakfast was always just warm could have been hotter and slope by the bar is a hazard as you don’t know it there needs to be highlighted

The hotels.com listing is incorrect firstly - there is only one pool and the parking costs £15. A message was received 2 days ahead of our stay confirming the £10 cost of parking, one day later another email through hotels.com from the hotel stating £15. On enquiring, a fairly unconsidered message back that a direct booking would’ve incurred no parking costs. Hotel fine, but tired in places and a real conference feeling but staff were good and the breakfast host was exceptional. Good location for walking to the beach (around 10 min) and the pool was a perfect temperature. Room with two additional beds felt cramped with the table and chairs left in, would’ve preferred additional furniture was removed to make movement around the room and to the bathroom possible.
