I arrived early (11.25am) and the hotel staff were helpful in that they found me a room, which had plenty of space, was clean and had a large bathroom. There is plenty of parking and the grounds are very well manicured. Great value when you consider the hotel's proximity to the centre of Bury St. Edmunds. One thing I did notice - although breakfast had finished just before I arrived, there was a distinct smell of cooking oil throughout the reception area and stairs leading to the upper floors.

A friend and I have just returned from spending 4 nights at The Priory Hotel. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. We had single rooms which were roomy the bed and pillows were comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was excellent and lots of choice . We ate dinner also, out of choice as the menu was good and again the food excellent. We would certainly stay there again. We have also seen their Christmas activities and menus that look amazing.
