Gary was a very warm, friendly and welcoming host and explained everything well, including recommended places to eat or get food nearby. The room was quaint but a little tired. A minor thing was that there was a cigarette burn on the surface of the large chest of drawers / dresser. The ensuite room I stayed in was located above the main road so initially I couldn’t have the window open, until after messaging the hosts via the app. As it was late I didn’t get a reply so I ventured into another room to borrow a fan. If I had realised earlier I would have asked before retiring for the evening as the room got incredibly hot. The room was listed as having free toiletries so I didn’t pack shower gel to take with me. The shower bottle provided in my room had a dribble left in it, only just enough for me. The soap dispenser was broken on one side leaving a jagged, sharp edge. And unfortunately the bed was quiet lumpy so I woke up quite a few times, experiencing the sensation I was going to roll off the bed so I did not sleep well. Also to note, the stairs are very narrow and steep. Plus, the hosts have dogs and birds which were barking and squawking well into the night.

There was no parking at the property as advertised, I parked three roads away. Some one has hit my car and there is dent. I have to get this repaired now as who ever hit my car didnt leave their number
