Writing review on behalf of colleague, he wanted me to move him out of this accommodation as soon as he arrived. I rejected his request, however I did say I would write a review in his words. So, to start the room was freezing cold so the host gave him an electric heater to heat the room. The room had an unpleasant smell, and spiders and webs everywhere which shows that the room hadn't been turned over properly. The WIFI was terrible, no TV in the room. Just an overall bad experience unfortunately. Disappointing as I have put crews to this guesthouse in the past and never had any complaints.

Lovely old manor house with separate cottages set on a hilltop with a small forest and a fairy trail walk. A great location to relax and unwind, very quiet. There was no-one there when I arrived late afternoon but it wasn’t a problem as someone came to check me in when I rang the number. Lovely small room with stonewashed walls and modern bathroom. Recommended for a quiet getaway

This is a quaint bed and breakfast (although we did not realize breakfast was not included with our Expedia reservation until we arrived). Super convenient to Ballymaloe Cookery School and we enjoyed a short drive to the beach as well. There are very few dining options in the area and everything closed very early so keep that in mind when planning your visit. We drove 30 minutes to find a open restaurant/bar to eat dinner. Wonderful coastal drive back to Dublin through Waterford.
