Had a lovely stay. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was first class. A nice B&B set out in the countryside in a beautiful setting, plus excellent VFM

The location of this property is lovely. Surrounded by fields, you got a great sense of being in the middle of nowhere. The room was very cosy and the bed was comfortable. The shower was brilliant, too. Breakfast was a good choice of cereals and/or a cooked breakfast….i had the full English, which was better than anything I’ve had for a long time…..and on each of the 3 mornings, too!! A really lovely, quiet retreat….perfect if you need to unwind for a few days.

I have stayed here for at least ten years. The high standards I experienced from the first have been maintained. The rooms are bright, airy, well- appointed. The breakfasts are a treat. The Hollins family has been living here for at least 200 years. The sampler that a family member embroidered in the 1820s at the age of 8, on display in the dining room, is for me a wonderful piece of family history that makes this a special place to visit.
