I was woken up in the middle of the night due to a faulty smoke alarm in my room and was accused of smoking, even though I have never been a smoker. I was told that the room smelled of smoke, and as a result I have been charged €100 for smoking. I strongly dispute this charge, as I have never smoked in my life.

Good B&B right next to the Hamburg airport. Access through metro and public buses. Clean and comfortable room.

While sleeping in my room alone someone entered the room without nocking or announcing their intentions. I have no idea if it was room service, it was around 7 that this happened so a bit early for room service if it was them. Safe to say I couldn’t get back to sleep after this and I had wanted to get some extra rest prior to my flight. I don’t know what caused this but it could be down the the door locks being key pads if the staff don’t use unique codes.
