I would have given this property 4 to 5 stars overall. It is very conveniently located, being across the street from City Point BKLYN shopping center and the DeKalb Food Market, a block or so from the subway, and a block from Fulton Street and its shops and stores. We also never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an Uber or Lyft to go anywhere in the city, including JFK. The rooms were basic but clean and modern. What ruined our stay and this review was that on our last night there was no hot water anywhere in the hotel and the management and staff never bothered to inform the guests and apparently made no attempt to effect repairs overnight. We found out when we took our showers to get ready for an early morning flight. Management should have made sure guests were informed of this. In speaking with the front desk that morning, it was clear they knew. It shows a really unforgivable contempt for your clientele.

The room I was staying in needed an overhaul. Curtains were frayed. Cheap furniture and even though I had a suite, it looked old and tired. It is close to the subway station with trains to Manhatten, but I wouldn’t recommend.
