It is a family run business and the family is very kind and helpful. The location is great. Hydra is amazing. We were grateful for the beach towels that the Achilles staff lent us. I can honestly recommend the Achilles.

Traveling with a family, it is often very hard to find a place where everyone can have their own bed! We were able to get a lovely little room with 4 twin beds! The Pension is walking distance from the harbor and all the wonderful restaurants Hydra has to offer. We also walked to a few swim spots from the hotel. The owner was very friendly and although we were only there for 2 days, we would most definitely come back.

50 year old Solo Female Traveler - this place was great! Close enough to walk from the Ferry (even with a big heavy suitcase) - rolling bag on cobblestone was pretty ok. The staff was very helpful with allowing me to store my bags, stay an extra night, etc. Quiet neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk to the nearest corner store, restaurants are plenty. Would no hesitate to recommend this place and I will use it again next time :)
