The management has done their best (perhaps) to update this hotel but mould in the edges of the shower dioes not give you a good feeling. Obviously, the bathroom needs more air circulation and more attention to all the corners. Breakfast, beds, helpfulness..all great.

Our first room had a pretty bad smell that affected my asthma. I took the situation to customer service and they relocated us into a very nice clean room. The bed was a little firm for my liking but still slept okay . The breakfast buffet was great!The front desk customer service was excellent.

The first impression of the hotel was a run down building. The good points were the pick up from the airport was very good. A helpful driver. Fast service. Very large shower room. No bath. Good shower with good control. Kettle in the room was good. Tv fine. Welcome at reception was ok. Helpful in getting my room early. Bed was ok. The bad points were the cleanliness of the room and the general hotel. A lift right outside my room door. Plug sockets not available in the right places. Upon moving a bedside table to get my kettle plugged in, I discovered lots of dust and dirt. The rooms need a deep clean, the carpets also, the smell of some kind of cleaning product overpowers you when you walk in the room. Its a kind of room where nothing fits well or properly. Saying to guests to request the room to be cleaned is not good practice, it will only lead to build up of dust and dirt, that cleaners won`t have the time or will to clean. The house keeping staff need to have some kind of routine, so each room get s thorough clean. I was only here one night, and left very early in the morning, it is close to the airport, and useful to have the shuttle bus to get there and back, but the quality for the price paid leaves a lot to be desired.

Rooms were clean,complementary breakfast was good (toasters not working properly have to wait too long in line ) but the staff in breakfast area were excellent very polite and helpful. Front desk staff some were friendly need improvement in that area.

For the price, this was not a bad broom, but the property is very old and the whole place smells bad. However, we were safe and the air-conditioning worked and we were able to walk to the sky train and take it straight to the cruise port. There are also very few restaurants around and no bars.
