This isn’t a great hostel but acceptable. Only book if nicer places are full. Parking is really really awkward.

This was an excellent choice for our stay, offering a strong location that matched our needs for a large group. As a hostel, overnight noise and a busy lobby were predictable, particularly during the opening weekend of Oktoberfest. I would certainly return. The only negative would be the temperature in the room, I think fans or small air conditioners would really help, although we didn’t ask during our stay. These may have been available.

The staff at the reception were very rude and unfriendly. They were not helpful at all. Whenever we asked a question, they either ignored us or told us to ask another colleague, constantly passing us around. They treated guests dismissively and even scolded people in a rude and disrespectful manner.

We've stayed at these hostels in other European cities and they're usually a safe enough bet. This one was let down by the elevator not going to the top floor, meaning we had to carry luggage part of the way up. Also the bathroom, whilst clean, smelled awful, so there was obviously a problem with the drains. Not the best experience, maybe the other branch nearer the Hautbanhof would have been better.
