This is an old hotel. The rooms are clean and there have been upgrades but it is still very basic. The mattresses are foam and are fairly comfy, bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Tea tray was fine. The gentleman running the reception was very helpful. Shampoo, body wash and soaps were provided. Overall fine for the cost, although wouldn't want to stay more than one or two nights.

My friend and I booked a twin room for 2 nights but we only stayed 1 cause the whole place stank, it was truly unbearable. I had to walk to my room covering my nose cause the smell was sickening.

Appalling hotel. Run down, not three star, one star. Not staffed by appropriate staff. A caretaker man we rang for keys as desk unmanned. Not a proper reception.BedRoom terrible, floor squeaking loudly on any movement, curtains just about hanging off. Balcony furniture rusty. Parking difficult and only three spaces behind hotel, cluttered with old furniture. Out of ate public liability insurance on display in the room that served as a reception. Tried for a refund but hotel declined this. Try next door “savoy” 100% better for the money, hanging baskets outside, inviting. It was full so we could not stay.

My dad had a room which for some reason the window was nailed closed considering it was a hot day it was very unpleasant for him to stay him

Limited parking gd location no gd for disabled people staff was helpful key safe out side brill. Room cleanish Fore a couple of days brill a week no gd
