We had 2 people in a 'cosy' room and it was fine for a couple of nights, but if we were staying again for more than that would get a larger room that has more space and is properly set up for 2. The hotel is full of historic character. The restaurant had good food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Great central location to walk and see the market, shops, cafés, arts centre and castle.

Excellent stay, nice big comfy bed, cosy room, only grievance I had was the windows, difficult to open & needed a clean on the outside bit as sash windows, didn't have breakfast, staff very helpful

Et fantastisk, gammelt hotel, som emmer af historie og historier. Personalet var sødt og imødekommende og maden i restauranten rigtig god.

Staff and management super friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the property - both meals were fantastic. The bed was a queen and really comfortable. Good tea & coffee amenities with a good selection. Very clean, lots of character and a very pleasant stay.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff were extremely helpful. Our booked room was in annexe beside kitchen conditioning units with jet engine noise levels. Obviously unacceptable. We were given alternative accommodation which was particularly pleasant and quiet. This may not always be available, so anyone booking needs to check if they expect a quiet night. Very good breakfast

Excellent location for visiting Ludlow. Near shops, pubs and the castle. Welcoming friendly staff. Good breakfast though would have appreciated some fresh fruit on offer. Had dinner one night in the restaurant- food and service good. Room clean, beds comfortable. Our room had a balcony which was good except at night as opening the sliding door was the only way to get any fresh air into the room therefore making it extremely hot. Didn’t feel we could leave the door ajar as there was a staircase next to us leading into the carpark therefore felt it was a security risk. Overall though a good stay, would recommend, but don’t choose a room with a balcony!
