The room was basic but clean and functional for a short stay. It had everything we needed and good for the price. We had a twin room and one of the beds was hard and felt like an old budget mattress whilst the other bed had a comfy spring mattress. Good selection of tea and coffee. Check-in times were quite restrictive and made us plan our day around a set check-in time. It's very close to the centre and within easy walking distance. The room was hot at night but the fan somewhat helped. Overall a pleasant stay for a budget room.

Quick friendly check in. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Check out is a little early, 11 would be better. Overall great place to stay, and very convenient for the town/ castle.

As a base to stay close to Ludlow Castle for the series of gigs they hold it’s perfect. Simple rooms but clean and tidy with a good shower to freshen up before heading into town. Really friendly staff! Will be using you again.

The accommodation was ideally located for the centre of Ludlow where we were attending a concert. Being able to leave the car in the grounds was a big plus. I had a twin room to myself which was fine but two adults might have been challenged with the lack of space. The bed was comfortable, the room felt freshly decorated, the hospitality tray was well stocked and the towels were mostly soft. All basic requirements were covered. I didn't use any communal facilities so can't comment on them but the availability of extra items if needed was good. It was a good quality hostel and perfectly adequate for a short stay.

On the web site it stated that breakfast was available for £10 per person per day but this was not available. I asked if there was a cafe near by the lady replied that there was lots up in the town but there was not, She was far from helpful
