Great position on Bailgate, close to castle and cathedral. Room had great modern ensuite but maintained the ancient feel in the bedroom, works well. Road was quiet soon after closing time, had a good Saturday night sleep. Excellent breakfast, quality ingredients! Really recommend if you like the old fashioned style!

Lovely room, great staff and free parking. Only reason we may not return often is that dogs are not allowed. Otherwise we would book whenever in Lincoln.

Our second stay and we love the place and will definitely be staying again! A perfect location for visiting Lincoln. Quirky old style character room. The breakfast is delicious. The best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! There were even some umbrellas to borrow as it was raining. The staff are so friendly and helpful. This place is awesome!!

Excellent blend of old and new. Very good breakfast. Stayed in room 1 - spacious, upgraded bathroom, comfortable bed, kitchen extraction underneath from 7am-9pm, so a bit noisy. Good & free parking (unusual for city centre). Pub lively, especially as we were there at the start of the Tour of Britain cycling. Superb location for both cathedral and castle as well as loads of pubs/restaurants. Easy to drive to/from.
