Our experience at Messeret was mixed. The price and location were fair. However, the place was dirty. Common areas and rooms. The rooms were very lightly cleaned and 2 days they were not cleaned at all. The communication was a bit poor around the price and method of payment for our airport transfers. Prior to arriving we were given great instructions, but was quoted $70. On arrival we told it had to be in cash and now the price was $80. I didn’t have cash ready and had to pay the next day. On departure I was told the price was now $82. Not sure the reason for any of this but it was not enjoyable. Bottom line is we will not be coming back and would not recommended. We have been to Istanbul before at a cheaper place not too far away and it was much cleaner and the staff was much more helpful and clear with how things worked.

Really fantastic location, walkable to key sights and tram, train and ferry links. Staff were so kind and welcoming. Room was beautiful and a great size. Breakfast was really good but when busy you have to wait a while for things to be restocked (because it’s cooked fresh). Coffee at breakfast was amazing!

It was great experience staying in Messeret Palace hotel. Staff were very friendly, room was neat & clean with all amenities. Breakfast was included with the stay which was great, has lots of variety. Very near to tram station so was easy access to taksim & galata square. Highly recommended!!

Good location...very nice reception staff...room is nice. Bad mattress...bad pillows.... breakfast can is fair and staff of breakfast are a bit rude. But in general, I will come back again !

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great location. Street facing rooms can get noisy if you're a light sleeper. Didn't affect us though. Carpet had stains; room was otherwise clean.

Lovely hotel, very close to all the magnificent buildings in Istanbul. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
